2 things i miss oh so dearly.

This evening, I got home from an afternoon of studying at the library. Back from a day of stupid mistakes, annoying people, and parking lots full of angry Christmas shoppers. Strangely, what was on my mind when I sat down to my computer was "i really miss playing the piano".

Sitting at the piano, a strange sensation came upon me. "There is two things i miss so dearly right now" and these are the two songs I played as I thought about how God used these songs to touch me so deeply.

Daddy, I miss you.

There's a day that's drawing near
When this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear
And my faith shall be my eyes

And I hear the voice of many angels sing,

And I hear the cry of every longing heart,

How many people have not heard?

Many have not believed Your word and called Your name

The name that sets the captives free

God in heave, hear my prayer

In Your love, pour out Your mercy, let them hear 

Lord of the harvest, hear my prayer

If it's Your will, then Lord I am willing Send me there

In Your mercy and humility

In Your perfect love, You set me free

How can I give what you deserve?

Help me to live and humbly serve with all I am

And all I ever hope to be
